
Microplastics…a groing problem in the world and in our bodies. Like according to this video, below, 80% of human blood samples contain them, including babies.
I came upon this compelling video on Twisted Sifter. Apparently a type of worm and a type of mushroom can feed off of plastics. It’s not exactly these organisms that will be a solution but the enzymes they contain. Take a look. it’s quite interesting!
Very interesting! Makes me hope they’re still hard at work figuring this out to turn this terrible problem around.

Interesting video. I was reading about how fungi can help to break down plastics, and even clean up nuclear waste sights in the book Entangled Life, by Merlin Sheldrake. Quite amazing.
